There are three sections within Diversity that accommodate for the different levels of awareness. The first is a four-hour experiential workshop designed to heighten awareness around who is responsible for creating a workplace of respect; one that allows for the total spectrum of differences and similarities to be valued and integrated equitably in support of the goals and overall operations. The curriculum examines how the human frame of reference shapes perceptions, attitudes, and behaviors, which consciously and unconsciously influences communication, teamwork, performance and productivity. Activities include a focus on five behaviors that impact employees, and building skills to enable effective communication, about and across the differences. |
